Family Guy, Futurama, King of the Hill Crossover Game Out Now
Animation Throwdown: The Quest for Cards has arrived.
Animation Throwdown: The Quest for Cards, the wacky-sounding mobile game that brings together Fox franchises like Family Guy, Futurama, and King of the Hill, launches today for iOS and Android devices.
GameStop subsidiary Kongregate published the game. As its name suggests, The Quest for Cards is a collectible card game in the vein of Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft and Gwent, among others.
In addition to the franchises mentioned above, Bob's Burgers is represented as well. However, Fox's biggest series, The Simpsons, doesn't get any love in the game. This might be because The Simpsons already has its own mobile game with EA called The Simpsons: Tapped Out.
There are more than 460 cards in The Quest for Cards, featuring more than 300 combos. There is a campaign component, as well as PvP that lets characters like Peter Griffin (Family Guy), Hank Hill (King of the Hill), and Leela (Futurama) go head-to-head.

Kongregate co-developed The Quest for Cards alongside San Francisco-based Chinzilla Games, which previously made Little Alchemist. It appears The Quest for Cards gets its name from the Family Guy game, The Quest for Stuff.
