Far Cry 3 voice actor has died
Dr. Alec Earnhardt actor Martin Kevan dead at 66 after brief battle with cancer.
Far Cry voice actor Martin Kevan died in Montreal on May 1 after a brief battle with cancer. Kevan played Dr. Alec Earnhardt in last year's Far Cry 3. He was 66.
"To a consummate and polyvalent Montrealer, talented writer and actor, raconteur with your embracive and humanitarian approach to life, family and friends, Adieu," reads a line from his obituary (via The Montreal Gazette).
Kevan studied commerce at McGill University in Quebec, where his acting career blossomed. Prior to lending his voice to Ubisoft's Far Cry series, Kevan performed in a number of roles for stage and screen.
Kevan starred in 1978's short film Happiness Is Loving Your Teacher, in which he played a physically disabled substitute teacher faced with a class of unruly students.
A funeral ceremony for Kevan will be held Friday in Montreal.
