Ubisoft Montreal has begun to flaunt the explosive arsenal of weapons in its upcoming open-world FPS, Far Cry 4.
A new gore-riddled trailer provides an outline of some of the game's most lethal instruments, and the ample opportunities in utilising them in creative and fiendish fashion.
The video features an SMG, a machine gun, an P416 assault rifle, a flamethrower, an auto-crossbow, and countless virtual cadavers that can collectively help desensitise genuinely horrific ways of dying.
For the more strategic-minded, mortars have been introduced, allowing players to attack entire villages. There's also a kukri blade that offers some truly disgusting close-up kills, and animal bait to lure natural predators towards foes. Oh, and there's a flamethrower.
Anyway, Ubisoft has set a Far Cry 4 release date for November 18 across PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. If it's anything near as good as Far Cry 3, it could be a Game of the Year contender.
