Ubisoft has released a patch for its PC shooter Far Cry that targets issues with the game's online play. The v1.33 patch, now available for download via GameSpot DLX, fixes server crashes caused by player names and has resolved some unspecified cheating issues. The patch is only applicable to 32-bit systems. First released on PCs in March 2004, Far Cry received critical acclaim for its impressive graphics and single-player campaign. Far Cry Instincts, an Xbox-only version that features a revamped storyline and several other changes, is due for release next month.
