Fight In Nazi-Controlled Alaska In Final Wolfenstein 2 Expansion

"The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins" is now available.

The third and final piece of expansion content for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will be here very, very soon. "The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins," as it's called, launches at midnight local time tonight. [Update: The DLC is now available on all platforms.]

This expansion brings US Army hero Captain Gerald Wilkins into battle on a mission to a Nazi-occupied Alaska. Your objective? To take down Operation Black Sun, which is the secret and mysterious Nazi project in Alaska.

The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins is priced at $10 on its own or you can get it with the game's $25 Freedom Chronicles Season Paass. This also includes the two previously released expansions: The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe and The Diaries of Agent Silent Death.

The New Colossus, a sequel to 2014's A New Order, launched in October 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Our New Colossus review scored the game a 9/10. Developer MachineGames says it sees the franchise as a trilogy, so another game could come.

While we wouldn't expect a third game anytime soon, Bethesda may have some surprises up its sleeve for this year or next. We may find out more during Bethesda's E3 2018 briefing in June.

@CallMeDuraSouka: i liked the first one a lot. I found the second one even better, especially the way the story is delivered. I’m not a cut scene fan, often skipping them, but I watched every second of every one. Powerful direction, great voice acting. My biggest complaints: it’s a bit short, i was hoping for more. But the variety of maps, weapons and enemies, great characters, writing and character interplay, beautiful environments, solid level design all seemed better to me than the original.

@CallMeDuraSouka: im honestly enjoying base game. I didnt play it a lot nor beat it yet (time factor, want to upgrade pc first if possible) but i had my fun. And, quite honestly, most of the complains i see about this games are just from dumb thick skulls that are unable to ignore political bs and have their fun. And i say this even though i absolutely despise sjw bs. But what i saw in the game, at least, was just a goofy representation of sjw that it amazes me how people are still taking this seriously, considering they arent trolling. Just one thing, this game can get unfair at times. One chapter at particular i was pretty pissed off because you start completly open getting bulletstorm from all directions while you get crappy weapons. This on the second hardest difficulty (the hardest is just a permadeath bs that i dont care) was much more frustrating for me than fun. Dont this game have a demo? Try it, sir.

@CallMeDuraSouka: Yeah. I just think people are overdoing with complaints about "game being sjw" and political bs (just like everything in the internet nowadays just have to get stupid political discussions about it). I mean, the first one had goofy moments with the nazis, just like Engel being lover with that pipsqueak. In this one, sure, there are some sjw characters but they are so goofy to me, because the "main sjw" character just likes to order around but does nothing (kinda like the way i see the internet sjw). Not a single moment i was "holy hell, this sjw character is so badass! imma turning into sjw now, boy!" Hell, even the nazis look goofy to me sometimes. I, for one, dont think is much different from the first game aside for being more story heavy. People complain about some long parts without gameplay but they already existed in the first game (like BJ in the prison or when he goes to the sewers). But i still enjoy it nonetheless.

@lionheartssj1: It’s,not really a true “cliff hanger.” It’s more like a classic #2 movie in a trilogy. Think Empire strikes back.

@lionheartssj1: It's not even the story: Kicking nazi butt in Wolfenstein just never gets old.
