Final Fantasy 15 Has Over 100 Hours of Gameplay
Director Hajima Tabata has revealed Final Fantasy 15's story, sidequests, and extra content length.
It's been a long wait for Final Fantasy XV. It was first announced in 2006, and after many years of anticipation, it's finally set to release this year. Now, director Hajime Tabata has revealed how long we can spend in the new Final Fantasy's world.
"In terms of clearing the main story, we're anticipating about 40 to 50 hours of gameplay," Tabata said on the Square Enix E3 livestream. "So at the very least, there'll be 40 hours worth of content to enjoy in the final game."
Tabata added that there are also many side quests and "other extra things" that the developer has planned.
"With just the extra stuff alone, we're looking at maybe 100 hours of gameplay," he said. "So if you count all of that, maybe we're looking at 200 hours of gameplay... the final version of the game coming out--about 200 hours total."
Tabata said many fans "have been waiting quite a while for this game," so the studio wants to ensure that they have "a lot of content for them to enjoy" when it releases for PS4 and Xbox One on September 30.
