Final Fantasy 15's Launch Trailer Brings on Eminem
Final Fantasy XV is out now.
In addition to airing a live-action trailer, Square Enix today published a launch trailer for Final Fantasy XV, which is out now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It's a pretty spectacular trailer, showing some battle sequences, referencing some story elements, and teasing out how expansive the game world is. The trailer is set to the song "Fast Lane" by Eminem featuring Royce Da 5'9. Take a look in the video embed above.
It's been a long road to release for Final Fantasy XV, as the game was announced as Final Fantasy Versus XIII more than a decade ago, during E3 2006. At E3 2013, the game was renamed as Final Fantasy XV. It was delayed multiple times after that before landing at its November 29 date.
GameSpot's Final Fantasy XV review scored it an 8/10.
"While it's safe to assume fans and outsiders will find some aspect of Final Fantasy XV disappointing--be it the shallow story or finnicky Astrals--it would be hard for anyone to deny that Final Fantasy XV is a fascinating game after giving it a chance," reviewer Peter Brown said. "Where its characters fail to impress, Final Fantasy XV's beautiful world and exciting challenges save the day."
