Boyes revealed that Tetsuya Nomura would be directing the remake, with scenario writer Kazuhige Nojima and producer Yoshinori Kitase also contributing. The game will be aptly named: Final Fantasy VII Remake. The CG trailer showed familiar faces, Cloud and Barret, walking through the slums of Midgar. The game will potentially land on other consoles, but it will be available first on PlayStation 4.
