Atari announces that RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 will incorporate an all-new Fireworks MixMaster feature. New screens inside.
Atari has announced that RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, which is currently in development at Frontier Developments, will boast an all-new "Fireworks MixMaster" feature that lets players create their own fireworks displays. Players will be able to synchronize the pyrotechnics in the skies above their park to music, with the option to use in-game tracks or songs from their own MP3 collection. Additionally, players will have the option to assign music to individual rides and attractions.
"The RollerCoaster Tycoon series has millions of devoted fans who have provided many great ideas for new features they want to see in RollerCoaster Tycoon 3," said David Braben, chairman of Frontier Developments. "The Fireworks MixMaster in the new game is one that we are very proud of and feel really captures the fun spirit of the franchise--allowing players to fully design and customize every aspect of their dream amusement park."
RollerCoaster Tycoon is currently scheduled for release in November. We'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
