First look: Egg Mania
Kemco releases the first shots from its upcoming puzzle game.
Kemco has released the first images from the Game Boy Advance version of Egg Mania, its upcoming cartoon puzzle game that is also in development for the GameCube, and the PlayStation 2. Egg Mania challenges players to battle one another in a race to build a tower of blocks. Impeding this construction are a variety of obstructions, including rising water levels, troublesome enemies, and each level's inherent environmental hazards. The core gameplay element of Egg Mania involves catching falling blocks and dropping them into the correct position in the makeshift tower before being overwhelmed by the water level. The first player to reach the top of each level and locate a pull chain can flush the opponent's tower, ending the match.
Egg Mania will be available for the Game Boy Advance this September, coinciding with the release of Egg Mania: Eggstreme Madness for the GameCube and PS2. Egg Mania: Eggstreme Madness slightly alters the game's basic formula by offering a wide array of customizable options, new playable characters, and alternate play modes.
