First look: Monsters Inc.

SCEA has released the first information on and screenshots from Disney's Monsters Inc. for the Sony PlayStation. The game, based on the upcoming film of the same name, is a 3D platform game, which lets players use either James P. Sullivan--aka Sulley--a huge, intimidating monster with blue fur, large purple spots, and horns, or Mike, a green, opinionated, and feisty little one-eyed monster.

The game will feature 15 different levels to explore, as players have to solve puzzles and train other monsters. A variety of moves will be at the player's command, including running, bouncing, belly flopping, cannonball rolls, and tail spinning. Monsters Inc. will be released for the PlayStation on October 30.
