THQ has announced that it will release a Game Boy Advance version of MotoGP. The GBA game, which is not in any way associated with Namco's PlayStation 2 title of the same name, will include four modes of play: quick race, time trial, championship, and time attack. Sixteen tracks will be available in the game, including popular real-world courses such Le Mans, Donington Park, Montegi, and Suzuka. Players will be able to earn credits by winning a race, and the credits can then be spent on upgrades in the MotoGP shop to improve and repair the motorbike. Interestingly, weather effects will be included in the GBA version, which will also feature multiplayer support.

The game is expected to ship this October.
