First look: Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly
Universal Interactive announces a new Spyro adventure for the PlayStation 2. First screenshots inside.
At a recent press event in Paris, Vivendi Universal showed several games in its 2002 lineup. Among them was Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly for the PlayStation 2. The gameplay revolves around a very basic plot. After the year of the dragon festival, the dragonflies--which are the source of all dragon magic--are stolen. It's then up to the player to take control of the dragon Spyro, retrieve the dragonflies, and then find out who stole them. While Spyro could only spit fire in previous games in the series, players can now use different elemental breaths, such as ice, electricity, and bubble breath. The levels in the game will also be much larger and more detailed than those found in the previous Spyro games.
Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly is scheduled for release in Q4 2002.
