As GameSpot News first reported on Friday, Capcom of Japan will be releasing a special-edition Dreamcast console that will sport unique colors and emblems from the Resident Evil series to highlight the release of Resident Evil: Code Veronica.

The box set will include the Biohazard: Code Veronica (the Japanese version of Resident Evil: Code Veronica) game, a Dreamcast, a Visual Memory Unit, and a controller pad. In order to get their hands on this package, Japanese gamers will be required to fill out a raffle application for it, as there will only be 2000 units available. However, there's a catch. A big catch. Only 200 of these 2000 units will be the S.T.A.R.S. editions - the remaining will all be translucent pink ClaireRedfield versions.

Raffle applications for the Biohazard Code: Veronica limited-edition box set will begin being taken in January 2000. The package will be available on February 3, 2000, for a price of 34,800 yen (about US$340).
