First look: WTA Tour Tennis

Konami announced near the end of last year that it had secured the WTA license and confirmed the development of the tentatively titled WTA Tour Tennis. The game is being developed for multiple next-generation consoles, but a PlayStation 2 version has been confirmed. The screenshots shown are from the PS2 version.

There are very few specific gameplay details, but it is known that there will be 20 players in the game. Among them are WTA tour players such as Martina Hingis, Serena Williams, Ai Sugiyama, Monica Seles, and Lindsay Davenport.

No release date has been announced at this time.
