First Wild Arms 2 Screens

To follow up our Thursday report, we now have the first screens of Sony's Wild Arms 2: Second Ignition. As we had previously stated, and as these new screens perfectly demonstrate, the game is now completely 3D based. Also, battles have been altered to where the character is displayed in full size, looking similar to the recent Final Fantasy series of games on the PlayStation. The world map now looks very similar to the Final Fantasy games as well and the camera can be manually rotated in several different directions.

The new screens also give us a first look at the game's three main characters: Ashrey, Lirka, and Blood. It's not yet clear how they are related to Rudy, Jack and Cecelia of the first title.

Packed onto two CDs, Wild Arms 2: Second Ignition should be available this fall.
