Flying Sharks Terrorize The World In Sharknado 5

TV network Syfy announced today that there will be a fifth Sharknado movie. Ian Ziering and Tara Reid are returning in their roles, Fin and April respectively, while the story will involve a global flying shark attack.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Sharknado 5--or whatever absurd title Syfy gives it--follows Fin and April as they battle flying sharks across the world. Filming started today in Bulgaria, with upcoming shoots slated for England, Australia, and other countries.

Actress Cassie Scerbo returns to play the bartender Nova and director Anthony Ferrante is once again behind the camera. He has directed every entry in the series.

The series began in 2013, with sequels Sharknado 2: The Second One, Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!, and Sharknado 4: The Fourth Awakens following each year after.
