For Xbox One X's Release, GameStop Will Open At Midnight

@JustPlainLucas: exclusive games take time, and talent, and all of microsoft's studios are using their time and talent on the xbox brand. They can't alienate their fan base by making a next generation, mid generation when they've already lost the respective fight for dominance, all they can do is offer as close to more then their rival as they can.

as it stands, right now the gaming market is being monopolised by star wars shit and who really cares, some shitty failed star wars game that quite frankly noone gives a **** about, sparks a debate about whether singleplayer games will continue. right now.. companies need to work on offering the best possible experience within a game, faster quieter more stable console is just that.

however 30 fps games on the one x is a shocker.

I can't wait to get all those exclusive cross-platform games I can literally play anywhere else with existing technology. Only on Xbox.

@barcaazul: Just because PS has 80 exclusives worth of JRPG shovelware doesn't mean its an impressive lineup, I know but what about HZD and the Uncharted DLC they released as a full game. I guess those are cool the only game I'm jealous of out of Sony's lineup is MLB The Show.

@7tizz: It has no titles that can't be played on other currently existing systems. This is what they mean. There is ZERO incentive to buy an Xbox One X if you currently have an Xbox One and aren't interested in upgrading to 4K.

I could buy an S and have the same titles. I meant exclusives and new IP from MS. PUGB is a big scoop, but it's likely a timed exclusive.

Sure it has backwards compatibility, but that doesn't interest me personally.

Its just my view, but based on where MS is today, I would have expected them to tease new IP coming soon

@7tizz: They do it base on Eastern standard time. The BestBuy here does it too. They release at midnight eastern time, which is 9 on the West.

@bubba_666: Well once you play through the 4-6 single player games that little to no replay value all you have left to do is sleep.

@ltjohnnyrico: If you have an external hard drive you can transfer games over ahead of time. Plus, some games already have their enhanced patch out so you don't have to wait.
