Fortnite Limited-Edition Nintendo Switch In Stock At Amazon

The special-edition Nintendo Switch ships from Germany to the US.

Last year, Nintendo revealed a special-edition Fortnite Switch, complete with a different Joy-Con scheme and engraving. It looks good enough, but right now, it may be the easiest way to get a Switch on short notice.

It's currently available from Amazon Germany. Don't worry, though--it ships to the US easily enough, and shouldn't take too long to arrive on your doorstep. It's not the cheapest way to get a Switch, but keep in mind this is a limited edition console for the world's hottest game, which ups its value some.

Inside the box, you'll find a code for the Wildcat Bundle, which comes with three outfits and three Back Blings. Fortnite will also be pre-installed on the console--not exactly a bonus since it's free-to-play already. You'll also get 2,000 V-Bucks to spend in-game.

If you're looking instead for a next-gen console, be sure to check out our PS5 preorder guide to see when it might come back in stock before launch.

Lol, isn't every version of the switch a "limited edition" considering I haven't been able to find one in stores since oh I don't know, March?

Not a Fortnite fan but it sure looks better than the "please pretend this color is purple" special edition Xbox. While the console itself didn't look bad, the control is just downright awful. A purple so dark it might as well be black, with lettering nearly the same color. What a trainwreck of color scheme.

If I were on the market for a Switch and didn't hate Epic, I'd consider this one.
