Fortnite Reboot A Friend Program Offers Rewards For Getting Someone To Play
Bring back a lapsed Fortnite player to earn one of four special cosmetic rewards.
Epic Games is offering in-game rewards for you to rope your friends back into playing Fortnite with you. The "Reboot a Friend" program is similar to other referral programs, granting a series of rewards the more matches you play with the lapsed players that you've brought back.
The official site gives details on the program. Just log in with your Epic account and invite a friend who hasn't played Fortnite for at least 30 days. You'll get a reward as long as you play at least one game with your rebooted friend, though there are stacking tiers that will unlock more rewards at up to 20 matches played. You can only pick one friend to reboot, at least for this test run, so make sure it's someone you can stick with for the long haul.
You'll unlock rewards at the 1, 5, 10, and 20 matches mark. Epic shared an image of the rewards on offer, and the event will last for 20 days. As long as your buddy can commit to playing one match per day with you, you can get them all.

Fortnite recently began Season 5, with a criss-crossing story that is featuring cameos from all over the video game universe. That has already included God of War's Kratos and Halo's Master Chief, with characters from The Walking Dead coming soon as well.
