Forza Horizon 3's Blizzard Mountain Expansion Is Out Now, Looks Great
Blizzard Mountain has arrived.
Forza Horizon 3 grows today with the launch of the racing game's first major expansion.
Blizzard Mountain adds a new area to explore featuring blizzard conditions that will challenge your driving skills. Of course, there are a number of new cars to add to your garage, too.
There are more than 50 new events and challenges, as well as more race types like Hill Climb, Descent, and Blizzard. There are 28 new achievements (worth 500 Gamerscore) to collect--you can see a full rundown of the achievements here at the Forza site.
As you can see in the launch trailer above, you'll race across a frozen lake and through someone's backyard (the snowman in the video never stood a chance). There are seven cars unlocked right away and one Barn Find vehicle to discover, as well as snow tire upgrades if you want to race around the snowy settings with cars from the base game. The full list of new cars is below.

Blizzard Mountain is included with Forza Horizon 3's $35 expansion pass or can be purchased on its own for $20.
Blizzard Mountain Cars:
- 2016 Ford GYMKHANA 9 Focus RS RX
- 1965 Ford F-100 Flareside Abatti Racing Trophy Truck
- 1975 Lancia Stratos HF Group 4
- 1985 Lancia Delta S4 Group B
- 2016 Nissan Titan Warrior Concept
- 2016 RJ Anderson #37 Polaris RZR-Rockstar Energy Pro 2 Truck
- 2016 Subaru #199 WRX STI VT15r Rally Car
Blizzard Mountain is one of at least two paid expansions for Forza Horizon 3, though there is no word yet on what's included with the second one or when it may come out. Extra content for the game is also offered outside of the expansion pass.
