Four More Games Added To Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Program

More Xbox 360 games are now playable on Xbox One.

Microsoft has announced the latest additions to the Xbox One's backwards compatibility catalog. Arriving today are four Xbox 360 games: Street Fighter IV, Luxor 2, Madballs in Babo: Invasion, and Poker Smash.

If you already own these games for Xbox 360, they should show up automatically in your Xbox One game library. If not, you can buy them on your console or through the links below.

Luxor 2 ($10; 25.75 MB)
Madballs in Babo: Invasion ($10; 240.20 MB)
Poker Smash ($10; 99.51 MB)
Street Fighter IV ($20; 4.61 GB)

These are the first additions to the program since March 2. Games are added whenever they are cleared, not on a set schedule.

The Xbox One's backwards compatibility library has more than 320 games in it--you can see them all here.

Nothing here I want, but just got done playing DA:O picking up the few Achievements I missed the first time....porting that playthrough into Inquisition to get the last Achievements there....great job XB!!!

@hotwog21: Wait how is downloading and running it off the hard drive a bad thing? It lets people who have discs that don't work anymore (but are still recognized as the game) play them again. If anything this is how it should be. Yeah it would be nice to have more big title games but come on man, they don't have to offer this to you. How's backwards compatibility on PS4? Oh wait...

bacwards compatible is when u put the disc in a the console and it plays, no internet, no nothing, just plays, not this garbage.

@hotwog21: What about the updates? Some games need these updates to function properly (as bad as that is). Downloading the game off the internet allows for a clean copy of the fully updated game to be played flawlessly (well, flawlessly as in as good as the emulator could possibly play it).

Garbage? xD Dude, even if it were shitty backwards compatibility it's not like drinking or smoking in any way. It would be like having shitty dessert with your meal instead of a gourmet treat. In no way does having this as an OPTION affect you. If you're saying you'd honestly rather have nothing at all than what they're offering, there really must be no hope for you.

Also, that's the way games work CURRENTLY. At the very least they must be installed off the disc to play. This allows for a better user experience, because if your disc does get scratched, it won't glitch out or refuse to play at all.

@joannadark360: Well, I can only play Call of Duty from the 360 so many times before it gets old. Bejeweled is not at the top of most peoples list of games to play or Little Barbie Pony Rider.

OH MY EFFING GOD! I NEVER! would have though capcom would greenlight SF4. Thanks you capcom and M$. SF5 graphics are good but I personally like SF4 gameplay better and... poison... dat a$s is back.

Super devious. I already own it on disc, and am considering buying a digital copy. That wouldn´t happen with Super, as that was free on games with gold a few years ago.

Finally. We get some Street Fighter goodness on the Xbox One. Unfortunately it's the vanilla version of Street Fighter IV. Hopefully though they'll work their way up through the other versions in short time.

Always glad to see more fighting games on the xbox one since 90% of the genre is on PS4. By Street fighter IV i hope they mean ultra street fighter IV. Hopefully other 7th gen fighting games like blazblue, guilty gear, tekken, persona 4 ultimax and the king of fighters follow suit soon.

@jonnybrownieboy: Both Tekken games are already available through BC. BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma Extend is available on Xbox One. King of Fighters XIII would be a welcome adition (we already have 98 and 2002).

The Xbox One is finally a pretty decent fighting platform, I just bought a Hori Real Arcade Pro, along with UMvC3 and BlazBlue (on sale) last month. Street Fighter IV is the cherry on top!
