Both Assassin's Creed: Discovery Games Are Free Right Now

Ubisoft has been giving away a number of its titles as part of its Play Your Part, Play At Home campaign to help those stuck in isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic. We've already seen a number of games offered for free, and now the company has revealed two more. Both Assassin's Creed: Discovery Tour games can be claimed on PC via Uplay right now, giving you the opportunity to learn more about the worlds of Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Assassin's Creed Origins: Ancient Greece and Ancient Egypt. Both games are available to claim for free from Ubisoft's giveaway page until May 21.

Ubisoft describes the Discovery Tour games as "living museums" in which you can learn more about the various regions and cultures of both societies. Assassin's Creed brand director Etienne Allonier hopes that the two games can help kids with an educational experience that's "accessible, immersive, and fun," while their studies are in disarray during the pandemic. If you're interested in playing the full Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Origins experiences, then you're in luck. Ubisoft recently kicked off a Premium Edition Sale that discounts a large number of its games' special editions. This includes Assassin's Creed Odyssey's Gold edition for $33 and Assassin's Creed Origins' Gold edition for $25. Both editions come with the base game and all of its DLC expansions. The Assassin's Creed series is also on sale on the PS4 and Epic Games Store right now.
