Free Ghost Recon: Wildlands Update Coming Next Week, Here's What It Adds
The second major Ghost War update, Jungle Storm, arrives very soon.
Another major update is on the way for Ghost Recon: Wildlands' new Ghost War mode. The free Jungle Storm update is scheduled to arrive next week, on December 14, and will introduce new classes, maps, and other content to the online shooter.
Two new classes will be added with the Jungle Storm update, both of which will be available in all Ghost War PvP modes. The first is called the Pathfinder, which Ubisoft describes as "a stealthy Ghost equipped with a deadly crossbow who is unmarkable by drones." The other new class will be revealed prior to the update's launch.

In addition to the new classes, Jungle Storm also introduces Ranked play; in this mode, players and their squads will compete to reach the highest ranks. The update also brings new maps to Elimination and Uplink, along with an assortment of new weapons for the PvP and PvE modes.
Ubisoft will detail these additions and other changes coming to Ghost War in a livestream, which takes place on December 13 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM GMT. You can watch the broadcast on the company's Twitch channel. In the meantime, you can take a look at some of the new content coming to Ghost War in the screenshots above.
Ghost War was released as a free update to Ghost Recon: Wildlands earlier this year. Last month brought the first major update for Ghost War, Interference, which added the objective-based game mode Uplink, as well as the Disruptor class and several new maps. The next Ghost War update is slated to arrive sometime in January. Players who own the Season Pass or Ghost War Pass gain access to every new class a week early.
