Square Enix released some new details about the Life is Strange spinoff The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit today during its E3 2018 briefing. The game's creative directors said in a video that the game represents the "first steps" into the world of Life is Strange 2.

Captain Spirit will contain "many secrets" and Easter eggs for Life is Strange 2, so the directors encouraged players to explore everything. There are "links" to stories and details from Life is Strange 2, the directors teased.
