Free Xbox One/360 Games With Gold for November 2016 Revealed

With November fast approaching, Microsoft has announced the lineup of free games that Xbox Live Gold members will receive next month.

As usual, there will be a total of four games: Two for Xbox One, and two for Xbox 360 that are playable on Xbox One through backwards compatibility. The Xbox One games include Super Dungeon Bros. and 2014's Murdered: Soul Suspect. Super Dungeon Bros. is a new game making its debut in November; you can see a trailer for it above.

Now Playing: Super Dungeon Bros - Launch Date Trailer

The 360 title consist of all-time great adventure game The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition and the wonderfully absurd Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

Super Dungeon Bros. and Monkey Island will each be available starting on November 1. Blood Dragon will take the latter's place on November 16, when Murdered will also show up (replacing one of October's games, The Escapists).

  • Murdered: Soul Suspect (November 16-December 15)

The 360 selection is solid, but I already own both of them...

The Xbox One games are forgettable, at best. At this rate, I´m way more excited for games being added to BC than Games with gold.

@Chyld989: fair point, but I simply can't get excited about unreleased, previously unheard of "free" indie game anymore. I played a few of them, and they've been mostly fine (Volgarr, chariot and so many me, to name a few), but again, forgettable

Murdered: Soul Suspect is a much better game than it's reputation. However - I never played the game all the way through for some reason, so glad I'll get another shot at Xbox One.

Glad to hear that Murdered: Soul Suspect will be free next month. I played it through on PS3 back when it released, and i'll enjoy playing it again on Xbox One.

@Chyld989: dude its my opinion, lol not sorry if it rustled your feathers tho....very lackluster so if Sony has a crappy offering they will be bottom tier IMO.

@Chyld989: The 360 selection is great. One an all time classic and the other goofy retro fun: a bite-sized Far Cry experience if you find the main games a little much (like me).

I really enjoyed Murdered: Soul Suspect, definitely a hidden gem this generation. The other 3 games look pretty damn good too, really getting some good value out of Live next month.

I'm liking this line up.

Super dungeon bros looks like a lot of fun. And murdered soul suspect was an under rated gem imo.

Not keen on the monkey island game but I did want to give far cry 3 blood dragon a go and now I can.

I already own Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon for PS3 and coming to Xbox 360 is a good one since I find this standalone Far Cry game to be fun. As for the rest of the line up for Gold, it's nice but nothing I really want to play atm and so with that, I'll just add these games to my collection whenever I get around playing them.

@jerjef: not sure but I sure as hell not gonna pay 60 dollars for a service I barely use and the games they offer aren't worth it. Plus games with gold all 360 games you get you keep em even after cancelling the service.
