Free Xbox One/360 Games With Gold for October 2016 Revealed

Microsoft has announced the lineup of free Games With Gold titles that will be available in October.

As usual, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will get two games each on Xbox One and Xbox 360. On Xbox One, Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings and The Escapists will each be free. The Xbox 360 offerings--which are also playable on Xbox 360 through backwards compatibility--include I Am Alive and MX vs. ATV Reflex.

Meh, I'll download them but the only one i'm looking forward to playing is I Am Alive. I always wanted to try it but never wanted to buy it so i'm glad that one is free :)

A bit whelmbed by this months offerings. I mean the baseball game looks ok and prison architects is alright but nothing I'm heaps keen to play.

@Gary_Stanton: Diet TLOU works too. It was a solid downloadable game with similar atmosphere and gameplay mechanics. It was just less polished and lacked the great story.

If you like baseball, I highly recommend super mega baseball. Don't let the cartoony graphics fool you, it's a fantastic sim.

Granted, I don't have gold anymore, but I own 3 of these on pc already, so yeah.

@jcharp: I wonder... If I were MS I would keep the heavy hitters off the last 3 months of my games with Gold Calendar as that would potentially hurt the sales of big games releasing in the same period.

Nothing that really impresses me here tbh. Maybe I am Alive but that's it. Oh, well, MX might be fun.

I'm looking forward to what Sony will give now that they have started giving better games (for the record I thought tricky towers was a good game, but not what I would pay 60 bucks a year.

If I was to rate this month, I would say 7/10.

I dont have any of these games,thats something (lol)
Will still skip the baseball game as i have no clue about the rules(yeah,innings,homerun,strike...but thats all) and its a sport i was never interested in.
Seems its time to get back to smaller games again

@biggamerdude: In my opinion,watching baseball is about as fun as watching snow melt.I don't know how anyone could find that an interesting game.Playing it is more fun watching it.
