Freedom Fighters on the way

Electronic Arts has confirmed that Freedom Fighters is ready to meet its September 23 release date. The game will retail for $49.99 for the PS2, Xbox, and GameCube, and the PC version will retail for $39.99.

Developed by the creators of the Hitman series, Freedom Fighters takes place in an alternate history in which the Soviet Union has invaded America. Players engage in frantic third-person gunfights and also have several squadmates to control.
