Friends Cast Forced To Sing Carpool Karaoke With James Corden
The six stars of the much-loved comedy perform Car Pool Karaoke in a buggy.
HBO Max's Friends Reunion was perhaps last month's most-anticipated show, as the cast of the much-loved comedy got together for the first time in many years to reminiscence about their time on the series and reconnect with each other. The reunion was presented by Late Late Show host James Corden, who has also managed to get the six stars together for one of his popular Carpool Karaoke videos.
The video starts with Corden driving around the Warner Bros. lot on his way to present the reunion. On the way he picks up several famous passengers who are also going the same way--namely Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.
As well as asking them some questions about seeing each other again, Corden takes advantage of the fact they are all in the same golf cart and gets them to awkwardly sing along to a famous TV theme song--before crashing into the studio wall. Check it out below:
The Friends Reunion itself was packed with fascinating and surprising facts about the show, which ran from 1994 to 2004. These included Schwimmer hating working with Marcel the monkey, LeBlanc's surprising final autograph on the set, Cox hiding script pages all over the set to help her remember her lines, and the cast's final decision about if Ross and Rachel were on a break.
In related news, HBO Max recently launched a cheaper, ad-supported tier for subscribers. While a typical HBO Max subscription currently costs $15 a month, the new ad-supported tier will be $10 a month. The company claims that the new tier has the "lightest ad load in the streaming industry."
