From Software's PlayStation 2 Releases
King's Field 4 and Armored Core 2 confirmed for Sony's upcoming powerhouse.
One of the first PlayStation 2 demos shown earlier this year was a scene with skeletons eerily rising from the ground. While it was merely referred to as a tech demo for the system, many people immediately assumed that this could be a mock-up scene from the next installment in the King's Field series, as the footage was clearly marked with a copyright of From Software. Indeed, it was a good hint at a new King's Field game, because From Software recently confirmed that development is currently underway on the latest installment of that series for Sony's upcoming system. Titled King's Field 4, the game will likely be one of the first PS2 releases.
Also, From Software recently confirmed that Armored Core 2 is in the works for the PlayStation 2. Likely to take 3D mech gameplay to new heights, the game should be available around the time of the PlayStation 2's release. Armored Core: Master of Arena, From Software's latest PlayStation game in Japan, will hopefully see a stateside release later this year.
