Galactic Civilizations goes gold

Strategy First has announced that Galactic Civilizations has gone gold and is slated to ship to stores on March 25. Developed by Stardock, Galactic Civilizations is a remake of the classic turn-based space strategy game of the same name originally created for the now defunct OS/2 operating system. The game features space exploration, colonization, combat, and empire management, as well as scientific research, all of which are staple features of the "4X" genre.
