Galactic Civilizations ships

Strategy First has announced that Galactic Civilizations has shipped to US retail outlets. Just in time for the release, Stardock has made available a bonus pack and version 1.0.1 patch. The bonus pack includes a few gameplay refinements, as well as the option to replace the game music with an MP3 playlist. Gameplay changes include additional customization options for the start of new games, an easier way to gauge progress toward victory conditions, two new ships, and more random events. The update is available from the Galactic Civilizations download page and from the Stardock Central update utility.
