Gambit Gaming beat XD.GG 2-0 in Battle of the Atlantic
Fans had gotten worried over the Russian team going in to the event, as missed flights and stays in the hospital had plagued the team. But as they always seem to do, Gambit Gaming came through when it mattered.

Displaying their celebrated creativity, Gambit Gaming left the viewers dazzled as they pulled out two extremely unorthodox picks today in the shape of a support Amumu and a toplane Warwick which were handled by Edward 'Edward' Abgaryan and Evgeny 'Darien' Mazaev respectively. Aside from the more than unconventional picks from these two members, Aleksei 'Alex Ich' Ichetovkin was a story in and of himself as he went from being in a disadvantageous situation in the early game in both games to simply turn his luck around which resulted in him scoring 21 kills throughout both games, one even being as impressive as a 12-4-4 performance on Riven in the second game.
As it stands now, Europe has won three of the four matches that have taken place in the showmatch event, but it will be the final game between fnatic and Cloud 9 that will truly matter as the score the winner of the next match receives is enough for NA to edge EU out from their current 4-2 lead. All eyes will be on this match tomorrow as it will determine who earns the bragging rights for their region until they clash again at the S4 World Finals.
