Starting today, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers have access to an expanded version of the existing cloud streaming functionality that has been in beta for some time. In addition to games that are in the streaming Game Pass catalog, 50 more games can also now be streamed--with the catch being that you have to own these games to stream them.

The new features are available in all 28 countries where Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) is available, and Microsoft says there are plans to further expand Xbox Cloud Gaming.

According to Microsoft, this is only the beginning, as the new Xbox Cloud Gaming features are scheduled to arrive on Xbox consoles and the Xbox PC app sometime in 2025. The Xbox Cloud Gaming library will be growing over the course of the next year, too.

"Over time, we will continue to expand the library of titles that support Xbox Cloud Gaming," Xbox said in a press release announcing the new feature.

The 50 titles now available to stream include:

Decided to test this with hogwarts legacy.

Wouldn't load up at all but own the disc version and not the digital version.

I can't find any clarity if this is only for digital games, or is this meant to include disc games you own as well?

@dps1985: Good question. Was the disc in the drive of your Xbox when you tried? Maybe that is required.

So It looks like it may be digital purchases only from what I can tell.

Awesome. I have been playing in hotel rooms with mediocre internet aon a kindle fire and it's been a pretty decent experience. Not playing any FPS with it but for casual games it's fine.
