GameSpot video content is now on the Xbox 360. GameSpot TV launched today in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia bringing with it a range of video content including trailers, shows, reviews, and previews, as well as event coverage.
The GameSpot TV app requires an Xbox Live Gold subscription, and is available to download from the App Marketplace. GameSpot TV is compatible with Microsoft's Kinect motion control technology, allowing users to play, pause, and rewind videos with their voice or hand.
Additionally, GameSpot members can score a special deal. Members who purchase a three-month Xbox Live Gold subscription by October 23 through this US special promotion will be rewarded with an additional free month. Residents of the UK and Ireland can also take advantage of the offer.
GameSpot TV joins a host of other video apps available on Xbox 360, including Netflix, YouTube, ESPN, Fox, and HBO Go.
