It's been a big week for Gears of War 4. Microsoft has started to talk about the game's story, which will follow three characters, including Marcus Fenix's son JD and two others. Now, some more screenshots and renders from the game have been released as part of Game Informer's April cover story.

The images showcase the creepy-looking Juvie enemy type, as well as a new execution where your character will stab an enemy in the face with a combat knife. Another image showcases a "vault kick," which is exactly what it sounds like; you slide over cover and perform a kick in one motion.

In other news, Gears of War 4's story takes place over the span of 24 hours. Additionally, it's also been confirmed that Gears of War 4's co-op is limited to two players locally and online, not four as was the case with Gears of War 3.

We have also learned the game's resolution and frame rate, while developer The Coalition has teased that a PC version is "possibly' in the works.
