Gears of War 4 Trailer Will Run During Monday Night Football Tonight
The Eagles-Bears matchup on ESPN tonight will feature the Gears of War 4 launch trailer.
Microsoft is going big to promote Gears of War 4. The title's gameplay launch trailer, which you can watch in the video above, will air during Monday Night Football tonight on ESPN.
The company did not say at what point in the broadcast the video will run, but Monday Night Football starts at 5:30 PM PT / 8:30 PM ET. It's a matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears.
According to AdAge, ESPN charged more than $420,000 for Monday Night Football ads last season, though it's unclear what the rate might be this year. It's probably not cheap.
This isn't the first time Microsoft has run a Gears of War 4 commercial on prime time TV. Earlier this year, the company also aired an awesome trailer for the game during Fear the Walking Dead featuring Disturbed's eerie version of "The Sound of Silence."
The Gears of War 4 launch trailer features Lissie's cover of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters."
