Generals needed for Warrior Kings: Battles

Black Cactus is looking for people to appear as generals in its forthcoming real-time strategy game.

UK-based Black Cactus has today announced that it's looking for people to appear as generals in Warrior Kings: Battles, the next installment in the Warrior Kings series launched earlier this year.

Anyone who would like to have a chance of appearing in the game as one of its many generals should e-mail a picture of themselves, along with a humorous explanation of why they deserve to be in the game, to wkbattles@empire.co.uk before October 14.

According to Black Cactus, Warrior Kings: Battles will improve upon the original Warrior Kings strategy game in a number of ways, the most significant of which will be the enhanced artificial intelligence of the generals that players will be up against. Each general in the game will have a distinct personality that determines his battle methods, and he'll be capable of intelligently probing the player's defenses for weaknesses while building and maintaining his own economy and armies. The game will also feature AI diplomacy that purportedly makes players feel that they are up against human opponents. Another key new feature for the game is the addition of a skirmish mode.

Warrior Kings: Battles is being published by Empire Interactive in North America and Europe, and it is scheduled for release in February 2003. For more details on Warrior Kings, read our Warrior Kings of the game.
