At $15 per month, HBO Max is one of the priciest streaming services around. It also happens to be one of the best streaming services thanks to a robust slate of original content as well as the home for new releases such as Wonder Woman 1984. If you haven't subscribed to HBO Max yet, you can save a nice chunk of change on your first six months. The promotion was originally set to expire on January 15, but HBO has extended it until March 1.

If you pre-pay six months in advance, you'll save roughly $20 overall, dropping the price from $90 to $70. This gets you HBO Max for approximately $12 per month for your first six months. After the promotional period, you'll be charged the standard $15 per month going forward (unless you cancel).

If you were an HBO subscriber at one point but have since canceled, you should still be eligible for this promotion. I was able to sign up for the promotion despite already having an HBO Max subscription in the past. Simply click "Get the Deal" at the top of HBO Max's home page to sign up.

HBO Max is home to tons of original content, including all of HBO's back catalog of shows. It also offers hundreds of movies. At the moment, the recently released Wonder Woman 1984 is available to stream on HBO Max. In addition to Wonder Woman 1984, every 2021 movie from Warner Bros. will be available on HBO Max on release day. The lineup includes Dune, The Matrix 4, The Suicide Squad, and more. Each Warner Bros. movie will be on HBO Max for a month before leaving the service, so 2021 figures to be a huge year for the streaming service.

HBO Max was recently added to Roku, so now you can access the streaming service on most major platforms, including Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, PS5/PS4, and Xbox.
