Get a Wii U for $250 and Save on Amiibo Figures for the Holidays

Too expensive and I don't like the controllers or game pad. Games are too expensive. I also don't want to buy figurines for games, ever.

I've felt tempted a couple of times to buy a Wii U this year but then I quickly remember, oh yeah, the NX is coming next year and then I don't. I just can't bring myself to buy a new, soon to be replaced and discontinued console even if it has some good games for it. I really feel like they're giving up on this console too soon. With more games, advertising and deals, I think they could save it.

Where's the Fast Racing Neo review? Way to be anti-Nintendo. Than again GiantBomb is even worse as their last review for the Wii U was Super Mario Maker,. I would be surprise if that the GiantBomb sheep think that only good game for Wii U is Super Mario Maker as they can't think for themselves.

Want to buy a WiiU, but I see no point if the NX ends up being BC.

Hopefully that would include digital games too, but if not I'm willing to buy physical for Nintendo.

Some very good deals indeed. I went to Best Buy and bought a bunch of Wii U and 3DS games with the buy 1 get 1 40% off and then applied my Gamerclub card for an additional 20%.

Gamecube was a far superior console than the Wii-U and that sold for $99 at the same point in its life and at launch it and every other Nintendo console were cheaper than the Wii-U. I believe GC eventually even got a bundle at that price or a special Gamecube variant. Also, PS4 and XB1 can both be found for the same price this is going for at some places and they also come with more stuff and this is on top of both of them being significantly more powerful consoles than Wii-U with more options as well. Plus NX is coming soon so the console is about to die.

Basically, the Wii-U is still ridiculously overpriced and this is no where close to being a deal. I was being nice for a while saying I'd get one at $150 but yeah, it really should be $99 at this point. Nintendo shot themselves in the foot in many ways with the Wii-U but that stupid tablet that they didn't even implement correctly (lol at being mandatory and still only supporting 1 per console) made dropping the price hard for them. Well, I'll get one second hand for cheap in a few years then. I don't care enough about their exclusives to feel bad for missing out on them and I have so many other games to play that it's just more time for me to play the other games I enjoy. Others get my money and time for doing things at the very least better while Nintendo gets passed over.

N3DS is attractive at that price though.

I'll wait until it's $99.99.

$250 should be the price before the sale price.
