This deal is good today only.

Madden NFL 17 has been discounted frequently since launch, but a new offer is possibly the lowest it's ever been. Online retailer Amazon currently has the game for only $20 as part of a Deal of the Day offer. The deal is for a physical version of the game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Here are links to Madden NFL 17 on Amazon: PS4, Xbox One (via Slickdeals.net). Two-day shipping is free with an Amazon Prime membership. If you're looking for a digital copy of Madden NFL 17, the Xbox Store has it for $30, though it remains at full price on the PlayStation Store.

This newest offer on Madden NFL 17 comes during an exciting time for the NFL. The AFC and NFC Championship round games take place this Sunday, January 22. The New England Patriots face the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC matchup, with the Green Bay Packers taking on the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC game. The winners will advance to Super Bowl LI, which takes place on February 5.

Madden NFL 17's commentary has been updated with new dialogue for these games; you can listen to what the announcers have to say in the video above.

If you can wait, EA has historically offered a "Super Bowl Edition" of the newest Madden game for a nice discount during the week of the big game. Additionally, the developer usually simulates the matchup and predicts a winner, sometimes with eerily accurate results.

Too bad the NFL's current management has ruined the league. I used to be a HUGE NFL fan, but have since given it up.

How can a fan be loyal when their team will pack up and leave at the 1st chance of making a few more bucks?? Plus a 4 hour game is only about 13 minutes of actual play.....honest, no joke. Not to mention most of the players are illiterate thugs who beat women and smoke crack. Don't even get me started on them disrespecting the American flag.

It has been painful to see a game I grew up with, turned into pro-wrestling. Oh gee, can't wait for the superbowl so we can see what type of satanic ceremony they have planned for us at halftime.

The last Madden game to feature the San Diego Chargers...and in a couple of years, another different name as well.
