Get The Last Unicorn's New 4K Steelbook Edition Before It's Gone

The Last Unicorn is a popular animated film from 1982, with voice performances from the likes of Jeff Bridges, Mia Farrow, and Christopher Lee. A new 4K steelbook edition is due out in November--though preorders have already sold out at Amazon. Luckily, you can still grab a copy at Walmart, and Walmart orders are shipping as early as next week for select locations, meaning you can get the movie much earlier than its planned November 12 release date.

While The Last Unicorn steelbook edition is sold out at Amazon, you can pick up a standard 4K edition for $27.44. This version launched in August and is available now. It includes all the same special features as the steelbook edition but comes in a standard 4K Blu-ray case.

The Last Unicorn is based on the children’s novel by Peter S. Beagle. It follows a unicorn as she leaves behind her home in the enchanted forest to find others of her species. The journey isn’t as easy as anticipated, however, and she eventually comes face to face with the Red Bull--the creature responsible for gathering up all the unicorns and locking them away. The Last Unicorn (Paperback) is currently on sale for $12 (was $20), and it should make a nice companion for the fancy steelbook above.
