Black Friday rolls on with more and more deals, and one of the offers available now is a pretty great discount on the third-person shooter Returnal from developer Housemarque and Sony.

Amazon and Best Buy are currently selling the PlayStation 5 game for only $30, which is a nice discount off its usual $70 price point. Prime members can get fast and free shipping.

Returnal originally launched in April 2021 for PS5, scoring generally great reviews across the board. Here at GameSpot, we praised the game of elements from shooters, roguelikes, action games, and horror to combine for a "mysterious, moody masterpiece," as our reviewer said.

After launch, Housemarque released an Ascension update that added online co-op, allowing up to two people to play through the campaign together.

Following the launch of Returnal, Housemarque was acquired by Sony. The Finnish studio is now making a new IP that will presumably be exclusive to PlayStation.
