Ghost Of Tsushima Director's Cut PC Preorders Are Already Discounted
The Green Man Gaming deal gets you a Steam key and a bunch of preorder bonuses for just $51.
Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut launched on PS5 back in 2021, and now it's finally heading to PC. The game is slated to launch May 16, and preorders are now available for Sucker Punch's gorgeous open-world epic. Anyone interested in checking out the game should swing by Green Man Gaming to preorder a Steam key, as the retailer is currently slashing its price to just $51 (down from $60).
Preorder bonuses:
- New Game+ Horse travel companion
- Traveler's Attire
- Broken Armour dyes
There's a bit of a caveat to the deal, however, as it's only available to GMG XP members. It's free to join the program, though you'll need to spend $1 on another purchase before you'll be eligible for the XP savings. In other words, folks interested in saving on their Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut preorder will first want to buy a super cheap game like Tomb Raider: Anniversary or Worms Rumble to get the discount. Alternatively, you can check out the massive Spring Sale--which is running price cuts on hundreds of great games, including Alan Wake 2. In short, make sure you spend $1 at GMG before placing your preorder.
Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut preorders come with a few in-game goodies, including a New Game+ horse travel companion, Traveler's Attire, and Broken Armor dyes from Baku's shop. There are also a few new features coming to the PC version of the game, such as Nvidia DLSS 3 and AMD FSR3 for improved visuals, as well as Intel XeSS, Nvidia DLAA, and FSR 3 Native AA.
Like other PlayStation PC releases, Ghost of Tsushima will take advantage of the DualSense controller's haptic feedback tech, so you should consider picking up a DualSense controller if you don't have one already.
Our Ghost of Tsushima review gave the original PS5 game a 7/10 due to its gorgeous open-world, stylish combat, and impressive stealth mechanics.
"Ghost of Tsushima is at its best when you're riding your horse and taking in the beautiful world on your own terms, armed with a sword and a screenshot button, allowing the environmental cues and your own curiosity to guide you," wrote critic Edmond Tran. "It's not quite a Criterion classic, but a lot of the time it sure looks like one."
