Ghost Recon Breakpoint: Servers Down Update, File Size, Day One Patch, And More
Ubisoft says it's looking into server issues that are preventing Breakpoint players from getting online.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint is officially available for all on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. However, Ubisoft's servers seem to be straining under the load--players are reporting that servers are down right now, and the company has confirmed as much. In a statement on its forums, it said, "We're aware of an issue currently affecting connectivity on Ghost Recon Breakpoint and are working towards resolving this. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience. Please be sure to check this thread for future updates." We'll report back with any further word it provides on the situation. In the meantime, check out our Breakpoint early review impressions and review roundup.
Update: Ubisoft says the issue has been resolved and that servers are back online.
The issues should now be fixed. Thank you for your patience and have fun in the game! https://t.co/rVgjFs7Qct

The next Ghost Recon game, Breakpoint, is almost here. The Tom Clancy game launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC tomorrow, October 4. Ahead of that, Ubisoft has detailed a number of important launch details covering pre-loading, early access, file sizes, server start times, and more.
Server Start Times:
Online servers go live September 30 at 11 AM UTC. Take a look at the chart above to find out when the game's servers go live in your part of the world.
Ghost Recon: Breakpoint's release on October 4 is just the beginning for the military shooter. Ubisoft is planning to support the game for a long time after release with lots of new content, including the franchise's first raid and much more.
Early Access (Digital):
Everyone who pre-ordered Breakpoint or buys the Gold Edition of the game can start playing on October 1, which is three days before the public release on October 4.
Pre-Load (Digital):
Xbox One -- Pre-loading in all regions is available now, for all versions of the game.
PS4 -- Pre-loading begins from midnight local time on September 29 for Gold Edition. Pre-loading for the Standard version starts midnight local time on October 1.
Uplay PC -- Pre-loading is available now.
Epic Games Store -- Pre-loading is available now.

File Sizes (Digital):
Xbox One: Pre-load 40.1GB; Day 1 patch 13.5 GB
PS4: Pre-loading 47.3GB; Day 1 patch 10 GB
Uplay PC + Epic Games Store: Pre-load 41.36GB; no Day 1 patch because pre-load includes it
Those who download Breakpoint on PS4 or Xbox One after launch will instead see a single download size that is larger as it combines the pre-load file size and the Day 1 patch. Another note to be aware of is those who buy a physical copy of Breakpoint must download the Day 1 patch to start playing.
