Ghost Recon Open-World Game Revealed at E3 2015
Four-player co-op game is the biggest open-world game Ubisoft has ever made.
Today during Ubisoft's E3 2015 briefing, the French publisher officially announced Ghost Recon: Wildlands, the first ever open world game in the series. It's in development at Ubisoft Paris and is described by its developers as having the biggest open world Ubisoft has ever made.
The game, which has been in development for more than three years, will let you play alone, or in co-op with up to three others. It is set in Bolivia--and the team spent two weeks there for research.

Players will be able to traverse the massive open world by sea, air, or land with all kinds of vehicles. Some shown in the trailer include helicopters, motorcycles, and various cars.
Wildlands is a totally non-linear game--there is no script at all, the developer says. What's more, it claims that the choices you make will have real, lasting consequences.
"With Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, we're moving the Ghost Recon franchise in a new direction, with a massive, beautiful, and living open world that reacts to players' choices," senior producer Nouredine Abboud said. "Whether going it alone or teaming up with friends in co-op, players in Ghost Recon Wildlands will never encounter the same situation twice, providing amazing possibilities and creative freedom to cultivate very personal stories and experiences with the game."
The game is currently in development for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Check out all of the news from the Ubisoft E3 2015 press conference here.
