GMX takes flight with Battle of Britain
WWII air combat title to build on the foundation of 2001's Rowan's Battle of Britain.
GMX and Shockwave Productions today announced the development of Battle of Britain: Wings of Victory for the PC. GMX bought the rights to Empire Interactive's Rowan's Battle of Britain earlier this year and plans to use the 2001 game as a foundation to expand upon. Shockwave previously worked on Firepower, an expansion for Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator in June. Battle of Britain: Wings of Victory is scheduled for a February 2005 release.
