EA Sports published golf sim Rory McIlroy PGA Tour has taken the top spot on the UK all formats sales chart for the week ending July 18.

Sales monitor Chart-Track reports it is the first PGA golf game to claim the top position since 2008's Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09'.

At No.2 is Codemasters' F1 2015, in its second week on the chart, which is followed by console versions Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment's Batman: Arkham Knight at No.3. Lego Jurassic World, meanwhile, sits at No.4, ahead of Grand Theft Auto V at No.5.

Sony's God of War 3: Remastered is the other new entry in the chart, debuting at No.9.

@suicidesn0wman: little bite sized, lower productiom Indie games are great when you need a weekend break from the last killer exclusive but they arent suitable for replacing 9 MONTHS of having absolutely no full retail exclusives. This is.made even worse by the fcat that only havimg 3 indies is is laughable, especially when a windows 98 PC can play 2/3 of them and the other 1 is on a 360, this is why the Xbox One sells like shlt in rational countries

@subsided94: Weird, I seem to have accidentally bought a full retail game on my X1 just last month, didn't pay $60 for it, not sure why anyone would pay $60 for a game. Oh look, it appears I did the same thing in May, and again in April, TWICE even. Oh and whats this, full retail games for PS4 in Feb, March and May, man I must be crazy.

Seems I've bought 15 games in the past 6 months alone for just over $250, 4 on the PS4, 3 on the Vita, 3 Xbox 360 and 5 on X1, and thats only what I've bought at Best Buy. OMG, why would I do this? Why would I waste all that money on Xbox games when I could have gotten all Playstation games? Oh, right. I have no intention of limiting my selection since my dick is not permanently lodged in Sony's asshole.

@suicidesn0wman: Nah next month PS4 owners will get Until Dawn (if you like Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls). In September PS4 owners will get Tearaway Unfold which is much more innotivate gameplay than most of the xbox one games. In October, PS4 owner will get Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection with multiplayer access beta of Uncharted 4. And in November or December we may get: RIME, Tomorrow Child, No Man's Sky, Persona 5, Disgaea 5, Dragon Quest Heroes, Everybody's Gone To The Rapture,

So this year PS4 got: Bloodborne, Driveclub, The order 1886, Little Big Planet 3, Final Fantasy 10/10-2 HD Remastered Edition, God of war 3 remastered edition, Journey HD, Tearaway Unfold, Until Dawn, Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection, RIME, No Man's Sky, Tomorrow Child, Persona 5. Other: Rocket League, Helldrivers, MLB 15, Paperbound, Titan Souls.

At least PS4 owners got so much diverse games than Xbox One owners.

@namitokiwa: You know what I don't understand about you fanboys? Your need to lie. Are you guys so desperate to validate your single console approach you have to make shit up? Drive Club and Little Big Planet 3 came out last year, granted Drive Club didn't work until this year. So your 2015 release list really looks like this: Niche, 2014 game, The Order: 1886(which I must say was 100x better than people made it out to be), 2014 game, remaster, remaster, remaster, indie, movie, remaster, indie, indie, indie, niche. Other: indie, indie, niche, indie, indie.

You know who gets a more diverse selection of games, people who don't limit themselves to a single machine. As for your list, Until Dawn looks more movie than game, tearaway is more indie than AAA, and Uncharted is a cash grab of a remaster(although I will be buying it so I can leave my Uncharted 2 & 3 sealed). Meanwhile X1 owners are getting Rare Replay next month, most likely the best game in the month of August, plus the Gears remaster(not sure i'll get this, maybe), then forza in september, followed by Tomb Raider and Halo in November.

So you have fun replaying Uncharted and watching Until Dawn. I'll have those plus Halo, Gears, Tomb Raider, Forza and Rare Replay, plus all the backlog games in my 360 collection.

@suicidesn0wman: So what? Indie can't make truly great games? So just only some AAA dev can be count as games? The more diverse games we get, the more fun we have. Do you see the demo of Until Dawn? Until Dawn is type of interactive/adventure/horror games. Those type of "interactive" games still a game (Heavy Rain, Beyond 2 souls, Life is Strange, The Walking Dead Season 1-2, etc.). And Tearaway Unfold (like what you said kinda indie) but it is still a game, isn't it?
I have never played any games on PS3 so I bought again for remaster games, am I wrong?
People are acting like indie games are bad. They still made games and it still count as a game.
Even PS4 get thousand indie games, there still nothing wrong with that. The machine that contains a lot of diverse games is great for a person like many different games beside shooting and shooting and nothing more.
PC (steam) get a lot of indie, so why people don't whine about that? It brings more optional to gamers and I MUST SAY AGAIN THAT THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH INDIE GAMES or EVEN REMASTERED GAMES. THEY GAVE YOU OPTIONALs. NOT FORCE YOU TO BUY THEM ALL.
And I don't understand why people are so negative nowadays. You can play backwards which still very limited and some others dev still want remastered their games because it still bring them profit more than create a backward version just for free for those whom already purchased in the past. And that is FINE. BUT DON'T BE SELFISH AND SO OBJECTIVE TO SAY INDIE GAMES ARE BAD AND REMASTERED GAMES ARE BULLSH*T.

@namitokiwa: First of all, you seriously need to get laid or pop a couple vicodin or something cause your heart is going to explode if you keep it up. And secondly, you obviously missed the point of the convo, no one said indie games can't be good, but they sure as hell aren't system sellers. Indie games are nice additions to the overall experience, but the AAA's do the heavy lifting.

No one is going to pay $460 just to get the Uncharted Collection and a PS4, when they could get a ps3 and all 3 Uncharted games for $200 or less.

@suicidesn0wman: So turn out it still just an optional, doesn't it? 60$ for all three games with tons of improves from lightning, shadows, character models and many more and include beta code for multiplayer beta of Uncharted 4 + 1080p 60fps if this matter. It still a nice package because of the trilogy is good. I have never played them at all. Remaster things are good for those whom hasn't own any PS System before and now it is a great treatment for them.
It is business and I don't care if Sony package Uncharted Collection with PS4 for $460. It still an optional after all.

Reason why God of war 3 didnt sell well because it's not complete set. If was complete set players who didn't play game will enjoy series for ps4 and would sold more.

No one really didn't ask for God of War 3 to be remastered and this is nothing but a cash grab. Hell, you can find last-gen cheap copy for $10 or below for a used copy and this remastered wasn't made from the ground up unlike Gears of War: Ultimate Edition which is by far the better remastered version I seen so far.

@Suikogaiden: no there's a difference look at the flowers (top right) on the still without playing the video on the left you can see there blurry as hell while on the ps4 there much better. look at the general background its much sharper and there's a lot more detail overall. not that im defending the game but it isn't the same there are improvements.
