God of War: Ascension director Todd Papy has joined Crysis studio Crytek where he will work at the German developer as game director for an unannounced project.
Papy left Sony Santa Monica last month, moving to Germany and teasing, "I haven't left games." He was also design director on God of War III.
The confirmation comes by way of Papy's Twitter biography, which reveals his affiliation with Crytek and his title at the company.
Crytek recently shipped Xbox One launch title Ryse: Son of Rome, which was developed by the studio's office in Frankfurt, Germany. Crytek UK is currently working on Homefront 2.
