Sony Santa Monica and Gallery Nucleus are collaborating on an exhibition to celebrate God of War's 20th anniversary later this month, but don't expect any new announcements.

"With such a stellar lineup and all the anticipation we’ve seen around the anniversary, we do want to be clear that there are no planned announcements for this event," Sony Santa Monica clarified on Twitter.

The exhibition runs between March 15-23, with a panel cast and game dev taking place on March 15 and 22. While there won't be any new announcements, attendees will be able to check out and grab limited edition prints, Phantasy Arcade Cabinets, God of War-themed donuts from Moonbridge, and a Kratos beach towel.

Sony Santa Monica has been silent on what it's been working on since it launched God of War Ragnarok in 2022. However, the studio is reportedly working on its first new IP since the debut of God of War back in 2005.

There are rumors that the games in the original God of War trilogy are being remastered and that the reveal would occur around the franchise's anniversary, but Sony has now confirmed that there won't be any planned announcements during the exhibition. However, it's possible that there could be announcements outside of the event.

Bluepoint Games, the studio behind the Demon's Souls remake, was also reportedly working on a God of War live-service game that was ultimately canceled.
